The Photo Fantastic exhibition was the result of the Southbank’s Photo-Fantastic creative photography course, which invited selected emerging photographers from Lambeth and Southwark to a free week-long course.
Inspired by a creative brief from exhibition curator Ekow Eshun, and mentored by photographers Holly-Marie Cato and Eddie Otchere, the group worked intensively to explore mythology, science fiction, spiritual traditions and folklore to reflect their own creative imaginations and lived experience. The resulting digital exhibition celebrates new voices in photography and builds upon Eshun’s vision of 'new narratives of Black possibility'.
Creative Resilience was pleased to support this exhibition by providing models for the photographers to use in their photography.
