What We Support
Capital Projects
We are supporting various primary and secondary schools in refurbishing and building necessary infrastructures and secure essential supplies that would aid in effective improvement in their education experience and learning:
-
New science laboratory for Twifo Hemang Secondary. Total cost of project is £25,000.
-
New toilet and bath to serve 350 children at Twifo Hemang Secondary & Technical School in Central Region. Total cost of project is £5,000.
Scholarships
-
The Pilot launch of the NextTGenRise accelerate programme with Centre for Social & Sustainable Enterprise (CSSE) and 478 aims to provide students with an upper hand in their present and future educational experience, and preparation for employment as a member of staff or entrepreneur. In addition to the cooperation from the beneficiary school, the programme is supported by partnering organisations and experts who have proven substantial experience in mentoring and providing work experience opportunities for young people. Peer-to-peer mentoring will also be very important in the students’ overall experience, commitment and value assessment. We will rely on the students to help us develop useful activities to help in engaging and inspiring the young people at the school in their third and final year. We are working with CEA and a few local businesses to provide paid and unpaid work experience. Total cost is £5,000.
